What is FentWare?
FentWare is first and foremost a private gaming clan and creative community. We play games, make music and art, build projects, and use FentWare as a shared private brand and home for our group.
What FentWare is
FentWare is not a public hosting company or commercial cloud service. It is a small, independently operated community built around friends, gaming, creative work, and shared projects. Most of the site exists for members of that community rather than the general public.
The infrastructure behind it
Some FentWare services are powered by privately operated homelab infrastructure. That infrastructure supports things the community uses normally, including personal cloud storage, media, game-related tools, community features, and experimental applications. The homelab is the backend, not the purpose of the community.
Who it is for
Most FentWare services are intentionally private. Accounts are issued to invited members and friends, and authenticated areas are restricted to those accounts. The people using the services generally interact with FentWare as a normal private community platform rather than as a homelab project.
Authentication
FentWare login forms are for FentWare accounts only. We do not ask users to submit passwords belonging to unrelated third-party services through FentWare credential forms.
Independent operation
FentWare is independently operated and is not an official service of Microsoft, Google, Steam, Discord, or other third-party platforms that may be referenced or linked from within the site.
